To us, it's personal. About this opportunityWe are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely production of monthly and annual financial reports and maintaining robust compliance with statutory reporting requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our external audits, implementing AASB standards, and driving process improvements within the broader finance function. Why Join Us?Hybrid working model – work from home up to 2 days per weekFlexible working hoursPaid birthday day offPaid volunteering, emergency services & military reserve leaveContinued learning and development through our learning system and Immersion Program Key Responsibilities:Manage the accounting for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.Prepare and oversee the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.Ensure accurate intercompany eliminations and resolve discrepancies in financial reporting.Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the financial accounting function.Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders.Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. About you:Degree qualified and CA or CPA (or equivalent).Experience in a professional services business is advantageous.Advanced excel skills.Enthusiastic and willing to learn.Ability to apply experience to improve processes and mentor staff.Deadline driven with superb attention to detail.Some travel may be required.
