About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role suits someone who is highly collaborative and is effective in supporting financial control and providing technical advice and guidance across the business. You should be able to present yourself well and be comfortable in effectively communicating with all levels of the organisation and stakeholders.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Partner with the business to support financial controlAdvise on accounting standards and regulatory requirementsMonth end accounting, work papers, reconciliations and daily bank journalsFixed asset managementPrepare annual statutory accounts, audit and quarterly reviewsProcess employee expense claims and accounts payable workflowMonthly General & Administration (G&A) expenditure analysis and budget preparationReview internal control systems and processes and continuously improveAssist with tax compliance and company projectsBack office processing and support for the trading/settlement functionRequirements: 5+ years of experience in a similar roleBachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalentUndertaking or have completed a CA, CFA, or CPA qualificationsStrong attention to detail & accuracy and organisational skillsExcellent communication skills, written and verbalStrong competency in Microsoft products and ERP systemsMust have unlimited working rights in AustraliaWhy Join Us?
