Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a meaningful contribution within a vibrant educational community? We are seeking an Accountant to join the Business and Administrative Services team, providing vital financial support to ensure the efficient management of resources across a leading Queensland based College.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Management: Conduct cash flow analysis, maintain reconciliations, prepare monthly finance reports, and assist in budgeting and audit processes.Payroll: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with agreements and legislation, and assist with leave and superannuation calculations.Finance Operations: Support finance staff, manage internal communication channels, maintain finance records, and contribute to policy and procedure improvements.Compliance & Safety: Promote a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to Work Health and Safety policies.What They Offer:A supportive and inclusive team environmentOpportunities to develop professionally through exposure to a diverse range of finance functionsEngagement in a community-centered role that directly impacts the growth and development of students and staffRequirements:Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA membership preferred.Experience: Proven expertise in accounting functions, payroll, and financial management within an organizational setting.Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software; strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.Attributes: Professionalism, confidentiality, and a collaborative spirit.Other Requirements: Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain) and National Police Check.If you are passionate about leveraging your financial skills to support an environment grounded in holistic education, we would love to hear from you.
