About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the finance team!
This pivotal role will enhance transparency and ensure financial integrity across the organisation.
You will be at the heart of the finance function, working closely with cross-functional teams to support various financial processes and reporting requirements.
Your responsibilities will span a range of critical activities, including managing accounts receivable, overseeing month-end processes, and preparing quarterly and year-end financial reports.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable: Manage customer accounts by creating and maintaining an accurate customer database, generating invoices and credit notes promptly, and ensuring the timely resolution of customer queries with supporting documentation.
You will also manage the entry of livestock RCTIs.
Month-End Processing: Oversee the recognition and reconciliation of prepayments, accruals, and provisions.
Perform reconciliations for trade, sundry, and related party debtors, as well as payroll accounts, including payroll clearing, workers' compensation, payroll tax, superannuation, and leave provisions.
Quarterly & Year-End Reporting: Assist in preparing comprehensive quarterly financial reports for the board of directors and support the annual audit process by preparing schedules and responding to audit sample requests.

About You You are a skilled Financial Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a drive to deliver quality work.
With a solid background in month-end reconciliations and financial reporting, you are adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You possess strong analytical skills and are motivated by continuous learning, thriving in roles that challenge you to work across various accounting systems.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA or CA qualification is strongly preferred.
Proven experience in a similar role, particularly with month-end reconciliations, BAS preparation, and financial reporting.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid grasp of accounting principles and practices.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a supportive environment.
