As a Financial Accountant for ALH you will understand, document, reconcile and streamline the financial postings in relation to the newly implemented Delivery Partner models to ensure the accuracy of our financial information.
Here's a taster of the Financial Accountant responsibilities:
Weekly reconciliation of the multiple Delivery Partner clearing accounts, including root cause analysis of issues and fixes required.
Build and maintain excel templates specific to each Delivery Partner.
Create manual journals to ensure transactions are accounted for in their entirety.
Retrieve weekly reporting details from various Partner Portals.
Prepare and process weekly adjustment journals based on individual payout reports.
Validation of settlements, including the identification of missed/blocked payments and follow up with internal stakeholders / Delivery Partners where issues are identified.
Establish an improved reconciliation process that may involve working with IT to specify requirements, test and implement a reconciliation tool to further streamline the existing process.
Map out financial postings for existing / new agreements.
Testing of any system enhancements.
Participate in meetings relating to Delivery Partners.
Liaise with key internal and external business partners.
Role model the ALH Values and Ways of Working.

5 Years experience at an Accountant level or similar.
Experience in a retail/hospitality environment is desirable.
Excellent problem solving ability.
Confident communication skills with the ability to partner with various stakeholders.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Lateral thinker with the ability to take initiative.
A fast learner.
