Our client, based in Woolloongabba, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
The successful candidate will provide bookkeeping and accounting support to our clients growing practice.
The role will also be responsible for payroll of currently 15 employees with a rapid growth expected in quick succession.
The key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant are: Processing client invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintaining the general ledger and performing monthly bank reconciliations Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts using Xero accounting software.
Preparing and lodging business activity statements as required Preparing and reconciling monthly Home Care Package claim for client services and expenses within company software.
Processing HICAP payments Payroll administration and processing using Xero accounting software Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records in accordance with organisational policies and procedures Collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
