This Queensland State Department are looking for an AO5 or AO6 Financial Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant financial regulations.
Responsibilities of the role include: Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insights Provide strategic financial advice to senior management Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs Support audit activities Continuously review and streamline financial processes Your Profile: Proven experience as a Financial Accountant Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities CPA or CA qualification Previous Government experience preferred Experience working with SAP or similar considered favourably To Apply:
