In this role you will be providing support to the Finance Manager and wider finance team in delivering the preparation of monthly financials to budget holders enabling improved operations and management of changes in the external environment.
Responsibilities include: Work effectively and innovatively within the Finance Team to deliver highly accurate and timely analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance and management.Assist in preparing Business Activity Statement (BAS) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) Return.Processing of monthly journals, preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and prepayment schedule.Assist with the management of CPL's Asset Register.Preparation of asset, liability and capital account entries as required.Contribute to maximising efficiencies for the Finance Systems and rolling out system improvements across the team.Assist with the preparation of reporting associated with Funding Bodies and Acquittals process on a timely basis.Requirements include: Solid professional experience in a Financial Accountant positionPost graduate business qualification (e.g.CA or CPA) or studyingAdvanced Excel skillsExperience in ERP systems (TechOne CiA desirable)Strong financial process and system skills and knowledgeSound knowledge of reporting requirements for a large organisationKnowledge of relevant accounting standardsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsWell-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsHigh level organisational and prioritisation skillsAbility to work independently and be self-managed to meet deadlinesPlease review the attached position description for more informationBlue Card and Yellow/NDIS Card to startWFH and CBD office work-place flexibilityGenerous salary packaging options (up to $5000/yr tax savings)High growth, fast paced organisationTraining and SupportApplications to close by Tuesday 1st August unless filled prior, thanks!
