This role plays a vital role in meeting statutory reporting and public funding compliance requirements through high-quality, timely, and accurate financial reporting.
In this position, you will lead key activities across monthly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring the effectiveness of financial controls.
As a subject matter expert, you'll also drive process improvements within the team and support the implementation of new accounting standards.

The calculation and posting of accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
Ensuring the integrity of the Fixed Assets Register.
Completion of the balance sheet review of high-risk accounts.
Ensure the production of timely and accurate monthly and annual statutory and regulatory reporting.
Work with the FP&A team in the production of insightful management reporting.
Assist in the preparation of BAS, FBT and workers compensation returns.
Ensure the operating effectiveness of key financial controls and assisting in the completion of the annual external audit.
Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business and current membership of a relevant professional accounting body such as CA/CPA.
Minimum of 5 years' experience across similar Finance roles.
Working with Children's registrations in NSW and ACT (WWCC and WWVP).
Driver's License.
