With many M&A projects underway, the business is going through an exciting expansion phase and thus exists a newly created Corporate Accountant role in the finance team.
Job Description Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Prepare journals in accordance with accounting policy.Record and process monthly transactions including issuing credit notes and debit notes.Manage the Fixed Asset process in collaboration with the Business Units and overseas shared services.Manage manual payment process including working closely with the shared service team overseas.Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.Carry out financial analysis and reconciliation to support the accounting team.Provide support to the treasury and tax function in compliance work.The Successful Applicant A successful Corporate Accountant should have:
A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a Finance field.A CA/CPA qualified or working towards.3-4 years of experience in financial or management accounting in a medium to large organisation.Proficiency in SAP/large ERP software and Microsoft Excel.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Open to Assistant Accountants looking for a step up.What's on Offer Competitive salary range starting from $100,000 base plus bonus.Opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative team environment.Clear progression path to Senior Accountant.Work from home flexibility.Newly renovated office, centrally located and close to public transport.
