About the Job
This position is responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization.
This role will ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintain accurate financial records, and provide support in financial decision-making to enhance the organization's ability to deliver services to its members and community.
Your duties will include:

This role is a newly-created permanent headcount and would report to the General Manager of Finance.
There is leadership responsibility for this role as a team of 3 Finance Officers (AP, AR, and payroll) would report into the Financial Accountant.
Skills & Requirements for the Job
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting in the commercial sector.
You should be highly skilled in MS Excel, with a high attention to detail plus strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In addition, you should possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
As this is a full-time role based in Port Augusta, you need to be living there or be willing to relocate.
