About the Finance department The Finance Department provides services covering FP&A, incorporating budgeting and financial analysis, Financial Accounting, incorporating Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (patient billing and sundry debtors) Private Practice administration, Cash Management. The total revenue of the hospital is approximately $1.3 billion per annum. About the role Reporting to the Director Financial Accounting, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and leading the preparation, analysis and delivery of audit and tax related reporting, and the continual review of internal accounting policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Accounting Standards, Department of Health policies and Ministerial directions, and other relevant statutory obligations. You will also support the team's purpose to drive a strong financial control culture through partnership and evaluation.
