Financial Accountant - Aged Care

About the Role   The Financial Accountant will oversee the operational day to day management of the accounting and financial reporting of the organisation, supporting the Finance Business Partner in the organisations' strategic model. Key Responsibilities   Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for:   Delivery of accurate and timely month end processing, including detailed analysis, reconciliations and reporting Provide information to external auditors for annual statutory accounts. Oversee Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Billing / Reception / Payroll processes; BAS, GST and FBT compliance; Troubleshoot and support employees with IT issues About You   For this appointment we are seeking an experienced financial professional with within the Aged Care industry, with exposure to Residential Aged Care services and related funding processes. The successful candidate will have an established track record in the end to end management of financial and accounting reporting, and fostering high level collaboration. In addition, the successful candidate will have;   A degree in accounting, commerce or equivalent (CPA/CA desired) A minimum of 5 years accounting experience completing similar tasks. Financial experience within the Aged Care industry (essential) - with a desirable exposure to Residential Aged Care. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to interpret and analyse complex data Experience working with large ERP systems and system improvement projects.
