About the company
Our client is a successful manufacturing business with a National footprint and strong market position. Located in the Northern suburbs, they are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.
About the role
Reporting to the CFO, your key responsibility will be to lead the Financial accounting functions of your region within a small finance team. Regular interaction with the on-site manufacturing team and other sites located around the country will benefit your understanding of the company and how your role supports the business.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated experience in Financial AccountingMonthly reportingA working knowledge of General ledger journalsCosting & inventoryReconciliationsQualifications – Relevant Degree or Diploma consideredDesirable experience - Power BI Culture
The work environment is grey-collar & semi-formal in nature with a modern, open plan office. office. If you are an outgoing person with an eye for detail and a team-first attitude this role may be a great fit for you.
The current role is offered as a contract position, noting that there will be an opportunity to apply for a permanent role in the same team 6 months' later.
