Council is excited to present a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant.

We are now looking to appoint a qualified, professional Accountant to join Council's accounting team.This position will act as a business partner to the wider organisation, providing accounting support on a broad range of financial activities.
Candidates will have experience with financial statements and preparation of supporting documentation, and have working knowledge of financial audit functions, Australian Accounting Standards, and relevant legislation.The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification and have an understanding of accounting principles, along with demonstrable communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have a thorough understanding of financial practices, exceptional customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively work as a member of a team.The RoleThis position will act as a business partner to the wider organisation, providing accounting support on a broad range of financial activities.
