Financial Accountant (12 month contract)We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
Is this your next role? As a Financial Accountant, you will ensure the accurate and timely financial, management, and regulatory reporting for the Bank. You'll also contribute to special projects and process improvements as the Bank continues its rapid growth.
You'll look after medium to complex accounting and reconciliations for the Heartland Bank Australia, ensuring financial transactions are properly accounted for and reconciled to support internal and external reporting. In addition to managing your portfolio of accounts, you'll be responsible for maintaining the bank account register, reviewing accounting entries and reconciliations prepared by the Assistant Accountants and providing backup and support for other members of the Financial Accounting team. As part of a diverse and growing business, you'll be exposed to a variety of financial transactions, allowing you to broaden your knowledge and skillset for future career progression.
Does this sound like you?You're a CA/CPA-qualified professional with solid industry experience. You operate at pace, handle ambiguity with ease and enjoy working in a buzzing environment. You'll be hands on since we are the kind of organisation that gets on with things.
