They are now seeking to strengthen their finance function with the hire of a Finance Lead to be based in the Perth office.
Job Description Our client's group finance function is currently investing in an exciting transformation program to assist the business in its next phase of growth.
The initial focus will be to support this major project with process standardisation, automation and improvement.
The role will then continue as a leader within the group finance function to oversee the following responsibilities while reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.
Lead all accounting processes to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow etc.)
Support month-end closing activities and consolidation process Financial reporting, including assisting with the Audit process.
Support the production of reports and other data to the FP&A team to enable the measurement and reporting of a variety of performance metrics Coordinate and assist in the preparation and review of journal entries Facilitate the review and analysis of management fees and intercompany transactions Lead weekly preparation of stakeholder cash flow forecasts The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have a commercial background working in either a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role, whilst having leadership experience in managing both accounting and transactional finance staff.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent relationship building skills.
Other key criteria include: Qualification in finance or accounting, such as CA, CPA, or equivalent.
Experience working on finance transformation projects such as process standardisation, system improvement and automation.
Proficiency in financial accounting and reporting standards Experience working within Australian taxation regulations.
Proficiency in leading period-close procedures and financial consolidations.
Understanding of intercompany accounting practices and reconciliation processes.
Understanding of finance master data management and data integrity controls.
Proficiency with financial software for journal processing and reporting (preferably D365).
