We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Finance Systems Support Analyst or Coordinator (or similar role) to join our growing Finance function within our Corporate Services team. We are flexible on the location of this role. Hall & Wilcox has offices located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Newcastle, Adelaide, Canberra and Darwin. The Finance team is comprised of approximately 34 people, structured across the following sub-teams: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Trust, Finance Systems, Accounting and Commercial Analysis. Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include: Providing billing support including e-billing to all practice groups nationally. Providing Practice Management support to all practice groups nationally including onboarding of clients/matters, time entry and conflicts. Managing the setup of rates in the practice management system and provide advice when required nationally. Managing the onboarding process of new clients/matters. Managing financial workflows including write off approvals, bill reversals and trust transactions. Managing bill reversals. Induction training for Client/Matter opening, Time Entry, Billing, Conflicts & Reporting. Managing transfers, onboarding and leaving of employees within the practice management system. Maintenance and improvement of processes and procedures to control financial transactions. Involvement in Firm Projects as required. Ad hoc duties as required from time to time. Travel bookings for the finance team. Acting as back-up to Finance Systems Manager and Finance Systems Analyst and Finance Officers as required. About you You will ideally have the following skills and experience: A relevant tertiary qualification. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar financial systems coordinator or accounts role. Professional services experience, including providing support to stakeholders in a professional services environment. A background in working with legal practice management systems. Experience with and using Aderant Expert is preferred but not essential. Team player. The ability to work autonomously. Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan and prioritize.
