The role: In a multi-skill team environment provide high level financial support with a stakeholder focus to maximise hospital revenue.  The Finance Services Officer undertakes specialised financial and administrative duties, including maintaining financial records, in accordance with relevant service standards, legislation and Departmental policies and procedures. Undertake debt follow up activities, including finance system updates and processes, and liaison with collection agencies, law firms, health funds, employers and insurance companies. In accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation raise, receipt, reconcile and process accounts receivable for debtors. Undertake reconciliation of daily transactions and monies. Liaise with a broad range of hospital personnel, interdepartmental staff and clients on a range of revenue and account enquiries and provide advice and instruction in relation to finance operational processes. The team: Revenue Management North West - Parkside Building, South Burnie Stakeholder focused position with excellent customer service skills required Understanding of the public health system, health insurance and medical terminology an advantage  Ability to acquire knowledge and apply that across diverse levels of invoicing, receipting and debt management tasks  Details of Appointment Fixed term full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 May 2025.  *notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary:  $71,661 - $77,455 per annum + access to salary packaging.   You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
