Your new position:
As the Finance Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic projects and programs within the Finance team.
You will manage governance, risk, reporting, and the implementation of key financial cost-saving initiatives.
This role will commence as a 12 Month contract with scope for extension.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the end-to-end development of projects, from preparing business cases to ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard.Collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive outcomes aligned with strategic priorities.Managing governance structures and risk mitigation processes for strategic finance initiatives.Applying tailored project management methodologies to enhance efficiency and performance.Preparing high-quality reports and updates for senior executives to support informed decision-making.Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
A relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in program or project management.A strong foundation in accounting, including experience with budgets, financial analysis, and achieving cost efficiencies.Expertise in governance, risk management, and project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and prepare reports for senior audiences.Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
