Finance Officer

Utilise your bookkeeping skills across a number of related entitiesProvide advice and guidance on a range of accounting issuesJoin a committed and professional teamThis is a role that has variety and sees you join the team that provides bookkeeping services to a range of related entitles within this CBD based Not for Profit.

Operating within Service Level Agreements with each entity you will:
Provide professional bookkeeping services to Treasurers and key client contactsProvide support services including MYOB set-up and training/workshopsProvide effective and efficient responses to email, telephone and in-person enquiriesPrepare a fortnightly payroll for a key related entitySupport and assist the Manager, Financial Services to ensure that services to clients are delivered in a timely and professional mannerProcess transactions through MYOB accounting systemsComplete and lodge BAS returns for clientsAssist with administering records for taxation/ACNC registration and GST liabilitySuccess in this role will come from your bookkeeping experience through to financial reporting and your computer literacy in MYOB, Word and Excel. Any payroll experience would be highly regarded. It is expected that you will have a Certificate IV as a minimum and have, or be willing to obtain, BAS agent registration.
You will be joining a committed and professional team who have a strong customer service focus so being a team player who is willing to assist others achieve is important. Your ability to communicate clearly and explain accounting concepts simply is vital to your success in this role.
