This role is offered on a permanent part-time basis of 0.6 FTE (3 days per week), based at our Head Office in Burswood.The successful candidate for this role will be able to:Contribute to organisation systems improvement processes to streamline financial practices and enhance operational efficiency.Provide relief and support to the finance team as needed, ensuring continuity in financial activities.Process and maintain customer and supplier transactions with high attention to detail.Act as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless and accurate transactions.Oversee vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliation processes.Manage purchase orders and receipted goods with accuracy.Prepare vendor ageing accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve them promptly.Generate customer invoices, account statements, and debtor reports.Assist in managing bad debts in collaboration with the sales team.Handle petty cash with precision and ensure proper documentation.The successful candidate for this role will have the following essential skills and experience:A passion for contributing to a collaborative and dynamic finance team.Proficiency in computer applications, with solid skills in Excel and Word, ensuring accurate data entry.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.A keen understanding of confidentiality and privacy principles to protect sensitive information.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Outstanding planning, organisational, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Strong time management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing priorities effectively.Formal qualifications in Bookkeeping or Accounting.Parkerville Children and Youth Care are uniquely positioned to provide the successful applicant with the following benefits:SCHADS Schedule B, Pay Point and Level – 2.1 – 2.4: $33.41- $36.46Discounted Health Insurance PlansEAP Service with Wellness resourcesSalary Packaging of up to $15,900It is essential that all applicants meet the above criteria and are permitted to work and remain in Australia with no limitations.We hope to hear from you by 4:00pm, 9 December 2024.
