Finance Officer (12 month parental leave cover)The Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) is seeking a strategic Finance Officer on a 12 month fixed term contract (parental leave cover) to ensure the sustainable delivery of our world-class education programs.
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as an integral part of the Finance team, the Finance Officer is responsible for providing finance related support to the business including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions.
This includes liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the functions of the business are effectively carried out.
The Finance Officer will also support the finance team in delivering other key financial services.
The ideal candidate offers: At least 3 years of experience in a similar roleTertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or CommerceKnowledge and experience in end-to-end administration of accounts payables, receivables and payrollSolid understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, cash flow and internal controlsAdvanced MYOB skills highly regarded.Excellent interpersonal skills with a view of Finance providing internal service deliveryBased in Melbourne, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a leading public sector institution while growing with a new team.
This is a full-time position on an ongoing contract.
Salary range is $95,000 - $98,000 per annum plus superannuation with the opportunity to contribute to meaningful public sector development across two nations.
Hybrid working model of three days at our office in Carlton (VIC) and two days optionally from home.
