About the Role: Reporting to: GL Accounting Manager (Oceania) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Work Location: WFH + South Wharf As Finance Officer, your main objective is to process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions and payments, Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions, and assist with debt collection efforts. You will also process and reconcile all cash management activities and month-end transactions, including reporting. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the finance team and engage externally with suppliers, debtors, and banks. The role and responsibilities will include: Complete end-to-end processing of supplier invoices and credit notes in a timely manner Ensure Supplier creation/modifications are carried out as per Group's guidelines and highlight issues to GL Accounting Manager - Oceania. Processing bi-weekly payment runs - EFT and Credit card Compilation of weekly aging reports Ensure Debtors function, including debt collection, generating debtor statements and maintenance of client files are done in a timely manner Monitor & follow-up overdue customer accounts Assisting in the preparation of AP/AR/Litigation files as and when they fall due To be successful in this role, you will need: Degree qualified in Finance/Accounting 1-2 years' experience with AP Invoice booking Keen desire to build and develop financial skills in a dynamic multi-currency environment within a large international organisation Strong general computer skills, eg good knowledge in the use of shortcut keys, File management, Task switching, File sharing, and screenshots Strong knowledge in Excel – Functions (lookups and logical), Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Filtering and Sorting Strong knowledge in Outlook – setting rules, setting and flagging reminders, creating notes, and good use of calendar and scheduling To apply for this role, you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.
