The Role:
This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Finance Officer. Reporting into the CFO, the Finance Officer will play a key role in the day-to-day financial activities of the business. You will have the opportunity to grow your career and be a part of an exciting growth stage.
Responsibilities include: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment schedules Reconcile credit cards, financial records, and inter-company transactions Maintain customer/vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and manage employee expense claims Assist with month-end processing, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance lodgements Support fixed asset register maintenance and ad-hoc tasks or projects Handle general office duties, including supply orders, calls, and customer inquiries Support HR with payroll and ad hoc duties Skills and Experience: Qualification in Accounting or Finance or working towards this Strong understanding of the Australian tax and GST Intermediate Excel Skills Strong communication and problem-solving skills To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate the ability to be agile in your role with a keen eye for detail. You will also showcase strong problem-solving abilities, and have a finance first mindset!
