Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD – Robina QLDIn the role of Finance Officer, you will provide financial support to program and project managers in the delivery of South West District's Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program.Accountabilities include:Undertake and provide advice in the delivery of accounting and financial operations including:Accounts payableAccounts receivableAsset stocktake and lifecycle managementAssist in Budget preparationGST & FBTInterpret, apply and provide advice on financial policies and procedures to ensure the efficient delivery of roads infrastructure program activities.Undertake financial reporting to ensure accurate tracking and monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.Coordinate and monitor the internal costing, accounting and financial operations for various cost centres and road infrastructure projects.Carry out internal financial compliance audits on Departmental transactions.Prepare financial documentation such as journals, good receipts, EMS invoice payments, and corporate card transactions.Use of a variety of software packages (SAP, Microsoft Excel) to manage the financial and delivery performance of the district's QTRIP program.About youWe recognise and celebrate that everyone is unique and seek the applicant best suited to the role.
