As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Finance Officer to help manage and optimize our financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.Maintain and reconcile financial records in compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.Utilize Xero to manage financial transactions, reporting, and analysis.Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient financial processes.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment with budgetary goals.Assist with audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.Minimum RequirementsA minimum of 4 years of experience in a Finance Officer role or similar position.Strong knowledge and proven experience using Xero accounting software.Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.A commitment to Striive Care's mission and values.Experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector.Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.BenefitsOpportunities for internal and external professional development.A genuine focus on employee health and wellbeing.Access to free and confidential counseling sessions for you and members of your immediate family.An environment that genuinely values diversity and cultural capability and is an equal opportunity employer.Striive Care is committed to providing services that protect and keep children, young people, and adults risk-free from harm.
