Opportunity - About the Role We are looking for a meticulous and well-organised Finance Officer who takes pride in their accuracy and is eager to grow and progress their career.

As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, maintaining records, and developing reporting schedules using our financial software.
Key Responsibilities Accurately generate progress claims and invoices.Monitor bank accounts, complete reconciliations, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.Assist the CFO with the management of cash flow, including processing and scheduling transactions using online banking.Work closely with our external bookkeeping providers.Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgeted amounts on a project-by-project basis.Collaborate with management to create weekly and monthly financial reports and forecasts.Manage expenses and fulfill financial commitments.Assist the Finance Manager with accurate and timely recording of transactions and account reconciliations.Maintain and monitor debtor and creditor ledgers.Skills and Qualifications Your success in this role will be driven by your proactive approach and commitment to ownership of the process.
You will be accountable for ensuring the accuracy of financial data, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounts functions.
Your exceptional administrative and data entry skills will set you apart, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Degree in Accounting or Business (Desirable)Advanced Xero and proficiency in MS Excel4+ years of experience in a similar financial administration role.Excellent attention to detail and workplace accuracy.Exposure to process-driven decision-making.Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask effectively.Previous experience in the construction industry will be highly regarded.
