Hands On People (HOP) is an official NDIS provider dedicated to supporting Territorians living with disabilities. We assist them in navigating the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) to access support more efficiently. Our expert team delivers a range of services, including Accommodation Services, Community Nursing, NDIS Support Coordination, NDIS Plan Management, Social and Community Participation, and Veteran's Home Care.
With primary operations based in Darwin, Katherine, and Alice Springs, we are expanding to Brisbane, QLD. We are committed to empowering our participants towards independent living. Our vision is to become the preferred service provider in the disability and aged care sector.
At Hands on People Pty Ltd, we are seeking a Finance Officer to join our team. This position will be based in Brisbane and will play a crucial role in our finance department.
Roles and Responsibilities:Prepare Quotes, Service Agreements, and relevant documentsTimely generation of invoices and claims to the relevant authoritiesManage accounts payable functionsManage fortnightly payrollAssist in preparation of Payroll Tax, BAS, IASProcess daily Bank ReconciliationsAssist in preparation of Monthly Financial reports to be submitted to the Managing DirectorRequired:Minimum 1 year of working experience in a team-leading role for finance.Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts payable, receivables, preparation of financial reports, and GST in relation to suppliers.Demonstrated computer literacy (including advanced Excel), keyboarding skills (alpha and numeric), and proficiency in all modules of Xero.Interpersonal and communication skills to provide high-quality internal and external customer service and work productively in a team environment.Effective time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated initiative to problem-solve financial administrative matters.Essential Skills and Qualifications:Relevant Accounts / Finance degree and experience in the field.Current First Aid Certificate and CPRExtended knowledge about the NDIS system and the industry.Able to work in a team and be proactive in finding solutions to anticipated challenges.Your application will include the following questions:
