We are looking to fill 2 positions - we require an experienced Accounts Payable Officer & a Finance Officer to join our friendly and supportive Accounts team of 10 at our Ballarat Head Office reporting to the Finance Manager. 
If you are a 'numbers person' one of these roles may be for you! Training will be provided in addition to your experience.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER About the ROLE The main responsibilities will include: Invoice uploads and invoice allocation Ensure invoices are correctly coded and authorised for processing supplier payments within the Company trading terms.Identify and prepare weekly/monthly creditor payments.Supplier account reconciliation and resolving AP queriesProvide backup relief for Payroll OfficerAssist with other duties within the Finance team as requiredBuild positive working relationships with supplierLive Our Values.To be successful in this important role, you will need:  End-to-end Accounts Payable experience, along with experience in reconciliations and end of month activitiesComfortable and capable of working within a high-volume transactional environmentAble to manage multiple tasks with a high-level attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to confidently work in a team environmentProfessional and courteous phone manner; strong customer service mindsetHands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting/ERP softwareCommunicate effectively in both written and verbal form across all levels of the businessAnalytical skills, ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy_____________________________________________________________________________
FINANCE OFFICER About the ROLE The main responsibilities will include; Daily receiving and allocating of EFT, BPay, EFTPOS, PayPal and EBay payments.Compile & enter new accounts information on the ERP systemFile forms and documents.Process credit applications, verification of trade reference and confirmation of credit limit.Handle telephone account queries, providing high level of customer service.Cash drawer cash books reconciliation. Assist Account Payables with invoice entries into system, and reconcile supplier statements.Assist in other Finance areas.Build positive working relationships internally and with customers.Preferred skills and experience include: Comfortable and capable of working within a high-volume transactional environment.Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high-level attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to confidently work in a team environmentProfessional & courteous phone manner; strong customer service mindsetHands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting/ERP softwareStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Analytical skillsProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting transactions Ideally, you will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role. However, the most important requirement is a good attitude and passion for accounts.
