So, what's the role?
As our Finance Officer, you will manage banking transactions, payroll processing, and intercompany invoicing to ensure our financial operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include typical finance officer duties, such as maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management reports, and assisting with compliance and audit processes. You'll be the primary point of contact for various financial matters, working closely with the Managing Director while ensuring strict confidentiality, and you will be a vital member of our growing administration and finance team.
Here's what a typical day in the role might look like: Kick off your day by handling daily bank reconciliations and processing bank payment files. Dive into payroll preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the board. Oversee international payments and maintain financial records for our operations. Manage and process various intercompany invoices and receivables while liaising with managers regarding overdue invoices. Use your analytical skills to prepare management reports and monitor financial performance. Assist with insurance processing, property leases, and overall financial management. Enough about us—let's talk about whether this role is for you! You have experience in finance, ideally with an industrial background, and are familiar with blue-collar environments. You are flexible and resilient, thriving in hands-on settings where you like to get the job done. You understand the nuances of working with other people and appreciate a structured approach.
