St Mary's is a single stream Catholic primary school located in the town of Bunbury in the south west. The school has approximately 250 students from 3-Year-Olds to Year 6.
Position details:
Applications are invited for a full-time Finance Officer. The position is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. A friendly, positive, and professional demeanour is required. You will be the first point of contact families will liaise with regarding school fees. A high level of confidentiality is required in this position.
Probation Period – 3 months
Selection Criteria:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the following areas:
Applicants will model and maintain the Catholic ethos of the school.Qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting.Be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.Knowledge of AoS Finance, Workday, SEQTA, and AoS Student Management preferred or a willingness to learn the programs.Have excellent oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents, and teachers.Show initiative, work independently, and contribute to our team environment.High attention to detail.Excellent money handling practices.Excellent time management skills.A willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.First Aid Certificate.Human Resources:
Learn online payroll system.Preparation of employment contracts.Understanding of EBA's and HR Records Management.Duties:
Provide support to Leadership Team and Administration Officer.Work collaboratively with CEWA System Accountant.Provide relief for Student Services Administration when staff are away on leave.Accounts Receivable.Accounts Payable.Payroll & HR Management.Budget Preparation & Management.Financial Reporting to School Advisory Council and Principal.Reporting to CEWA and Education Department.Student First Aid.Provide administrative support.Catholic Education Western Australia encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with a disability, people of all ages, and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
