WE'VE GOT ROLES SOUTH OF THE RIVER! Our clients are looking for an All Rounder Accountant, specifically experienced in an Accounts Payable/ Finance role.
The Role: Support the transactional Accounts Payable activities such as:Enter, upload and process invoices and credit notesReconcile statements and investigate discrepanciesEnsure all purchase orders are approved for received invoicesCreating Weekly Cost ReportsContinually review and monitor compliance to ensure good governance is in place to ensure the integrity of the data entry, record keeping, reporting, utilisation and security access to the Finance systemMaintain the supplier and creditor database including set up of new additions and modifications to existing suppliers.Actively engage with customer queries and attend to allocated Email inbox tasks and phone calls.Work closely with the Finance team to maintain positive working relationships and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
About you: Working knowledge and experience in a finance and administration positionCustomer service and/or administration experience.Understanding of bookkeeping, transactional financial and the relevant legislations and statutory requirements.An accreditation in Accounting, Finance or Business would be desirable however not essentialWorking knowledge of financial procedures, specifically application of purchasing, accounts payable, taxation and applicable legislation as well as Local Government Act and Regulations would be an advantage.High level of attention to detail, accuracy and customer service.Possession of Current C Class Drivers License.Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate.Proficient in Xero, NetSuite, MYOB or SAP ERPExcellent communication skills, positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail.To Apply: To apply please submit your resume outlining your skills and attributes correlating to this opportunity to ****** or call 092153832.
