The Opportunity TP Human Capital  and  Lower Burdekin Water  are seeking a seasoned  Finance Manager  to oversee the financial health and reporting of the organisation.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will report to the CEO and be responsible for: Budgeting and forecasting Financial analysis and reporting Risk management and mitigation strategies Ensuring compliance with financial regulations Your expertise will contribute to the long-term sustainability of Lower Burdekin Water.
Role Summary As a dynamic and experienced transformational leader, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence supervising a small, dedicated team to drive a performance culture by developing a customer-focussed, results-orientated team, who are able and willing to provide a quality service in response to their customer needs.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
Investment and Sustainability: Identify investment opportunities and drive cost recovery.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop the finance and administration team.
Strategic Contribution:  Participate in strategic planning and decision-making.
What We're Looking For: Qualifications: Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred) with a professional accounting certification (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
Experience: 10+ years of senior financial management, skilled in developing and managing financial strategies and budgets.
Expertise: Strong background in financial analysis, risk management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and financial software proficiency (MS Office, modern accounting systems).
Attributes: Proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of translating financial insights into actionable recommendations.
