The role is pivotal in overseeing treasury functions, enhancing financial planning processes, managing reporting, and leading finance improvement initiatives. This role is essential for effective financial management, strategic decision support, and advancing financial operations to align with company growth strategies.Key ObjectivesPlanning ProcessesLead Financial Planning: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term modelling.Develop Financial Models: Create models to assess performance, trends, and insights.Analyze Data: Interpret financial data to support strategic goals and profitability.Recommendations: Offer strategies for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.Management ReportingPrepare Reports: Generate accurate financial reports and variance analyses for senior stakeholders.Project Reports: Produce project spend and funding analyses to aid decision-making.Timely Reporting: Ensure punctual and precise submissions to lenders.Improve Reporting: Enhance management reporting for greater transparency and effectiveness.Treasury ManagementManage Debt: Oversee debt activities including drawdowns, repayments, and hedging.Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow to support projects and mitigate risks.Forecasting: Enhance cash flow forecasts for funding and liquidity management.Covenant Reports: Prepare and maintain accurate covenant reports for lenders.Due Diligence Support: Assist with due diligence for current and future lending.Finance ImprovementIdentify Improvements: Spot areas for enhancement in finance processes and systems.Execute Projects: Develop and lead priority improvement projects with cross-functional teams.Streamline Processes: Enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within financial operations.Monitor Progress: Track project outcomes and report to senior management.About YouAs the Finance Manager – Planning, Treasury at Zenith, you will bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and skills to the role. Here's a breakdown of what you'll need:Experience:Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably with experience in treasury functions.Demonstrated expertise in management reporting, analysis, and leading budgeting and forecasting processes.Experience in initiating, leading, and executing finance improvement projects.Skills/Ability:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and in situations with high levels of change and ambiguity.Skilled in leading, prioritizing, and delegating tasks effectively, especially when managing workload and a small team.Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, management, and the broader team.Qualifications & Clearances:Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Postgraduate qualification such as CPA, CA, or CIMA is preferred.Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical.Right to work in Australia.Why ZenithAt Zenith, you will join a market leader with strong projected growth, and a company that values and celebrates its people.
