Finance Manager - Part Time

Our client is a leading commercial firm providing services to the Construction industry.
Now seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (preferably 3 days per week however open to alternative arrangements circa 24/25 hours per week). This is a newly created position that would involve ownership of the Finance function, managing the end-to-end Financial Operations for the business, and providing commercial advice to the business leaders on financial matters.
The Role
Key responsibilities may include (but not limited to) the following:

Manage and oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Cash flow management Prepare financial statements as needed, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Collaborate with senior management to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business initiatives, including pricing strategies Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors as necessary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
The Person
The ideal candidate would bring to the table the following skills and prior experience:
CA / CPA qualifed would be preferred but may be able to consider candidates with extensive experience without the qualification Previous experience working as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager Deep understanding of financial operations and commercial experience analysing budgets and financial performance Construction / project management understanding beneficial but not essential
