About the role: CSR are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team, based at Cecil Park.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting stakeholders across finance matters.
This role will be instrumental in driving cost-saving initiatives, enabling strategic decisions, and fostering strong operational partnerships within our manufacturing environment.
In this role, you'll also lead and mentor one direct report, providing guidance and support to ensure their development and alignment with team objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse and report on factory performance against forecasts and budgets, providing actionable insights to management and operations teams.Build strong relationships with plant operations teams through regular site visits to all brick plants.Actively contribute to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives by identifying cost reduction opportunities and validating financial outcomes.Manage month-end accounting tasks, including accruals, P&L reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations (detailed review biannually).Ensure accuracy in SAP for standard costing and annual budget preparations.Lead internal and external audits, conduct process reviews, and address deficiencies.Oversee inventory verification processes and identify slow or non-moving inventory for action.Prepare investment proposals, monitor Capex reports, and meet corporate financial requirements.Drive cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, and procurement to achieve optimal outcomes.Support process improvement initiatives in financial controls and accounting procedures.What you bring to the role: CA or CPA qualification.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Expertise in financial accounting and controlling.Proficiency in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.Proven leadership skills to mentor and support your direct report.What we offerWe strive to support your professional and personal growth.
