About the role: We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team, based at Somersby.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll provide critical financial insights, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
You will actively collaborate with various teams to identify and validate cost-saving initiatives, facilitate process improvements, and support key business decisions across our operations.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse factory performance against forecast and budget, providing actionable insights to management and operations teams.Actively engage in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives, identifying and validating cost reduction projects.Lead month-end accounting activities, including accruals, P&L reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations (biannual detailed review).Ensure accuracy of standard costing and annual budget preparation in SAP.Facilitate internal and external audits, conducting regular process audits and addressing deficiencies.Coordinate physical inventory verification for RM/spares (ongoing) and WIP/FG (annually or as needed).Identify and manage slow or non-moving inventory, initiating corrective actions.Oversee the preparation of investment proposals and monthly Capex Monitoring Reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and logistics, to optimize decision-making.Drive process improvements across financial accounting controls and procedures.What you bring to the role CA or CPA qualification.4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Expertise in financial accounting and controlling.Proficiency in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.What we offerWe strive to support your professional and personal growth.
