We manufacture goods that you see, touch and use every day and our customer base includes some of the biggest names in FMCG, Retail and Fresh Produce.Discover the OpportunityThe Finance Manager is a pivotal role supporting Opal Fibre Packaging (OFP) in delivering high quality financial services to all operational areas of the NSW fibre businesses. Specifically, accurate and timely analysis of financial results highlighting the links to physical drivers and emerging trends including options and recommendations for business improvement and outperformance.You will contribute to the success of Opal by:Participate in the timely completion and management of month end reporting and the forecasting and budgeting process for the region.Forecasts are presented to General Manager Commercial and Regional General Manager (RGM) with the relevant analysis and commentary.Paper pricing updates, and all monthly paper journal postings and reconciliations for the OFP Group.Provide key business advice to Manufacturing, Sales and Supply Chain personnel by providing accurate and timely analysis of financial and manufacturing results highlighting the links to physical drivers and emerging trends including options and recommendations for business improvement.Participate in the budget and forecast process for the NSW business.Work with the GM Commercial Finance and Regional GM NSW (and the broader commercial team) around potential CAPEX opportunities.Oversee the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting (variances and commentary on business results).We embrace diversity in all its forms and we look for curious individuals who thrive in an environment of change.Specifically for this role, we expect you will have:Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Commerce.Post Graduate Qualification of either CPA or CA.Significant experience in working in a large-scale multi-site organisation (7+ years).Solid working knowledge of costing in a manufacturing environment; including BOM, manufacturing standard costing.Experience in development of business cases for CAPEX.Understanding of general ledger reporting, forecasting, & budgeting.Exposure to ERP systems and costing systems (SAP essential).High computer literacy (Microsoft Applications and Advanced Excel skills required).Discover more… by visiting our website at www.opalanz.comFor more information, please contact Ruth Messenger on ****** alternatively, jump right in by sending us your CV.
