The Company has one of the lowest employee churn rates in WA and for good reason; it is a well-run organization that treats its employees better than most.Your New RoleReporting to the CFO, this new finance manager position was created for you to come in and drive the finance function forward to scale for future growth. Your success will be defined by three deliverables: First, deliver improvements on process, procedure, and financial controls. This will address the current challenges faced by AI, scams, and fraud rampant in eCommerce - you will ensure the online criminals don't win. Second, you will actively partner with all 20+ store managers for performance reporting, driving cost alignment and bottom line results. Your analysis by store, by region, by products, and more insights will guide each new store opening and share best practices between business units. Third, you will be in a key leadership role, guiding the finance business partners of both retail & eCommerce divisions, as well as the offshore transactional team.Your ProfileAs this role is the result of expansion, we can consider a broader range of individuals from those stepping up, moving sideways, or even back a step, with the aim to be the succession plan for the CFO role medium/longer term. You will bring your experience in transformation of the finance function with appropriate financial controls, automation, and governance. You will also bring your well-developed business partnering skills demonstrating where you can provide insights and analysis for improved business performance (increasing revenues, cost performance improvements, improving margins). Lastly, as a leadership role - you have demonstrated the ability to take the team on the journey with you (leading both transactional and qualified staff previously). We welcome applicants with CA, CPA, or CIMA qualifications; an MBA would be well regarded.
