Job Description The Role Are you a self-starter, agile thinker, and diligent individual looking for a new challenge in the finance world? We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Internal Finance team on a 3-6 month fixed term contract. As a "doer" who understands the importance of documentation, governance, and best practices, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and consolidations. You will also play a key role in managing all aspects of statutory reporting and compliance for both Group accounts and AFSL, working closely with external auditors and preparing necessary notes and schedules to support financial disclosure. If you are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have demonstrated experience in statutory reporting and compliance, including liaising with external tax agents and auditors, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Manage month-end and year-end close, including monthly balance sheet reconciliation and consolidation Lead and manage all aspects of statutory reporting and associated compliance for both Group accounts and AFSL including but not limited to: Collaborate with external Auditor and manage annual audit process Preparation of notes and schedules to support FS disclosures Preparing accounting memos and management position papers Ensure consolidation is accurately prepared and reconciled to management accounts.
