As a key wholesale partner of Australia's Biggest Golf Retailer, the Golf Works recently relocated to a larger facility in Dandenong South to facilitate its growth.What you'll be doing:You will oversee the financial requirements of the business and report directly to the General Manager to ensure responsible management of stock procurement. You will be instrumental in driving our financial, management and compliance reporting functions whilst also overseeing systems, processes and internal controls.Your superior communication skills are a must as you will work with a number of stakeholders including the General Manager, Brand Managers, the Board of Directors and external agencies. This is a "hands on" role; you will be pivotal in managing the function and have involvement in all the key aspects of reporting and compliance relating to the role.Key Responsibilities Include:Budgeting and cash flow forecastingReviewing capital requirements and finance facilitiesAssisting the General Manager with product purchasing plans and ensuring accurate pricing is maintained in the ERP SystemManaging all elements of forward exchange planningIdentifying financial risks and devising mitigation strategiesManaging audit processes and ensuring ATO and banking complianceManaging accounts payable and receivableProcessing fortnightly payroll and managing PAYE & Superannuation complianceProviding reports and recommendations to the BoardWhat you'll need to succeed in this role:Tertiary qualified (Accounting/Commerce)CPA or CA with at least 3 years post qualification experienceExperience working within a medium to large commercial organisation or chartered experience seeking first commercial opportunityThorough understanding of internal controls and financial reporting AASB requirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office SoftwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBe highly organised, confident and able to deal with conflicting prioritiesIf you are keen to advance your career and be part of a dynamic team, then this is the role for you.
