About The Role The Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations for the Absolute Immigration Group, made up of Absolute Immigration, Absolute Immigration Legal, and Absolute Immigration New Zealand. This role is responsible for managing the financial integrity of both client and trust accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing financial insight to support business growth. The Finance Manager will lead a small finance team and report directly to the Fractional CFO and CEO, playing a crucial role in budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning for the organisation.
This role is based at our Prahran office, and we offer a hybrid working model.
Your Duties Include: Oversee and manage the financial operations of three entities, including both trust and client accounts.Lead a team of two accountants, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and reconciliation.Implement and drive automation initiatives to streamline financial processes across the entities.Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.Provide insights and recommendations on financial performance, budgets, and forecasts.Ensure all entities adhere to financial regulations, with particular attention to trust account compliance.Collaborate with division heads and senior management to support strategic decision-making.Prepare financial reports, cash flow statements, and manage tax and audit processes.About You Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.CPA or equivalent professional qualification.5+ years of experience in a similar role, with experience managing trust accounts.Previous experience working in a law firm, immigration service provider, or professional services environment.Hands-on experience in managing financial operations, with the ability to dive into the details as needed.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and manage a small finance team.Proven track record in implementing automation and process improvement initiatives.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.Why Join the AI Family?
