Finance Manager

Details of the offer

Pastoral and regional property company based in Chatswood East with holdings/offices in Mildura and the Upper Hunter Valley seeks a finance manager to work closely with the Director on all financial aspects of the business.
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for:

Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Payroll
General Ledger reconciliations
Bank Reconciliations
Management of Credit card account
Year-end close for external accountants
Tax Compliance – GST
Income Tax returns for smaller entities
Superannuation Compliance
Cashflow/Forecast preparations
Adhoc tasks for the director

There is potential to progress over time beyond accounting into managing property projects so property experience/interest would be advantageous.
The role would suit someone who grew up in or lives in the Upper Hunter Valley or Mildura region.
The role can be part-time to suit your personal schedule or full-time.
A range of experience will be considered from Bookkeeper to Senior Finance Manager.
Remuneration package to be negotiated in accord with experience and capacity to manage property projects.
A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office and Reckon Hosted would be advantageous but not essential.
