About the RoleFinance Manager position commencing as a 3 - 6 month contract with potential to transition into a permanent role.This is a pivotal role managing the finance team and ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing monthly reporting, tax obligations, process improvement and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy and timeliness of month end reportingPrepare monthly management reports and commentary on the resultsMaintain the GL and ensure compliance with accounting policiesManage cash flow reportingOversee the preparation of BAS, FBT, PAYG, Payroll tax and Workers CompManage statutory reporting and compliance obligationsCoordinate and manage the annual audit and tax preparation processesMentor and develop direct reportsAssist in the budgeting and forecasting processAssist with shareholder reportingPlay a key role in several process improvement and system enhancement projectsSkills and Experience RequiredCA/CPA QualifiedPrior training in a Big 4 or Mid tier Chartered firm advantageousStrong technical accounting knowledgeOutstanding communication skills both written and verbalPrior experience leading a teamAbility to identify process improvement opportunities and implement changesAbility to manage and meet multiple deadlinesDon't hesitate to apply!
