Position Title: Finance Manager

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA or CA qualification preferred. Understanding of expansion strategies, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Asset Purchase Agreements and experience in Share Restructure is highly regarded. Must have experience in creating budgets and monthly reports (must be highly proficient with Excel) Experience with Employment Hero or managed payroll across multiple states. Managed subcontractors and contractors. Leadership Proven experience in leading a team. Contributing to wider leadership and developing financial strategies. Attend weekly leadership meetings in which these ideas will be shared. Be able to communicate to stakeholders within our parts of the business (having business acumen to work cohesively across the business). Key Responsibilities Allocation of bank feeds, daily XERO reconciliation Weekly Creditor Reports Weekly Supplier Creditors Reconciliation (and chasing up) of Supplier Statements Weekly Debtor Reports Payments of Creditors Weekly GST and PAYG calcs for BOS Transfers Miscellaneous Ad Hoc Payments re; Customer Reimbursements/Refunds Daily/Weekly Cash Flow Checks and Budgeting Reconciliation of receipts on DEXT Following up of missing receipts/un-allocated payments Monthly reconciliation of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Prepare regular financial reports for management to track key performance indicators Monthly Profit and Loss Reporting ATO Monthly Compliance/Lodgements including BAS returns ATO Quarterly Compliance/Lodgements Develop and manage financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making Collaborate with General Manager to develop monthly/annual budgets Monitor budget performance through a budgeting tool and provide variance analysis Manage cash flow to ensure the organisation meets its financial obligations Other Annual Year End Prep for Accountant - Prepare and reconcile annual TPAR lodgement Forecast future financial trends and assess their impact on the business Implement strategies to optimise cash flow and liquidity Ensure the businesses' financial practices are in line with regulatory requirements Implement structure for payments and collecting payments Identify opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices in financial management Working with other departments or teams to align financial strategy with overall business objectives Develop comprehensive financial plans that align with the businesses goals and objectives Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Apply now and become part of a high-performing team committed to building a greener, more sustainable future.
