About the Opportunity CQID is looking for a full-time Finance Manager based in Central Queensland, QLD. You'll be reporting to the General Manager of Operations. This role focuses on developing a continuous improvement Financial Management Strategy to support CQID's goals and operational standards. This role may require occasional travel within Queensland to meet with partners, oversee finance operations across different sites, and ensure compliance with organisational standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Preparing, monitoring, and reporting on budgets for funding agreementsManaging supplier payments and ensuring staff wages are paid on timeOverseeing compliance activities related to finance and audit processesCoordinating external audits and preparing annual financial statementsDeveloping and optimising financial policies, procedures, and reportsSupporting the finance team's growth and providing expert financial adviceManaging employment tax and salary packaging requirementsEnsuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and Human Services Quality StandardsAbout You To qualify, you will need tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or Finance, a minimum of five years of accounting experience, and a current C-Class Queensland Driver's Licence. A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is also essential.
