Finance Manager

Day to day you will be responsible for: Management of Accounts Outlook Inbox, attending to queries and new customer set up in Xero.Entering expenditure items to jobs.Daily client invoicing.Applying credit card payments received from clients.Maintaining and reporting to Directors on current accounts receivable position as part of the cash flow forecasting process.Issuing of monthly client statements.Following up on outstanding invoices.General administrative duties, including filing, phone support, data entry and other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Directors.To be successful in this role you will have: Formal qualifications in Accounting.2 years + experience in a similar role.Prior experience in the architectural industry is highly desirable.Demonstrated experience in using MYOB.Strong IT skills, including intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and independence.High level of attention to detail.Strong time management and organisation skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.The Company A highly regarded Architectural firm with enviable projects and a collaborative team that boasts long tenures and a social office culture. Working with a friendly and supportive team, the position will be responsible for the finance reporting along with payroll, accounts receivable/payable and assist in customising Abtrac - a financial and project management software specific to Architects.
Starting immediately, with some flexibility to the days/hours you will be working up to 16 hours a week on a permanent part-time basis. Wednesdays are mandatory but flexibility shown to remainder days and hours worked.
