They are now seeking to strengthen their finance function with the hire of a Finance Manager to be based in the Perth office.
Job Description Our client's group finance function is currently investing in an exciting transformation program to assist the business in its next phase of growth.
The initial focus will be to support this major project with process standardisation, automation and improvement.
The role will then continue in a management capacity within the finance function to oversee the following responsibilities: Lead and develop a high performing finance team.
Assist in the implementation of finance change initiatives, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure a successful outcome.
Manage accounting processes to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
Contribute to the integrity of master data by implementing controls for data quality and accessibility.
Manage cash flow forecasting and drive continuous improvement in cash flow production.
Oversee trust accounting activities.
Recommend policy changes to enhance financial performance.
Measure and report on Business Services KPIs and operational activities, identifying opportunities for improvement.
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate in this role will possess: A professional Accounting qualification A genuine passion for leading and developing people Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Extensive experience producing financial reports to Australian Accounting Standards Change management skills and an ability to remain agile and flexible Experience with system implementation or digital transformation.
