Finance Manager

As a prominent wholesale distributor of retail products, our client is recognised as a market leader and is set to continue expanding into new markets and sales channels beyond 2024. In response to this growth, they are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across Australia and New Zealand. About the Role

Reporting the CFO, the Finance Manager will: Lead the entire month-end reporting process, including assisting with the monthly management report. Lead the preparation of the annual financial statements and tax returns ensuring these comply with relevant accounting standards. Develop financial policies and procedures as required. Be the key point of contract for the external advisors including - auditors, tax advisors, and regulators. Lead a nimble highly skilled finance team. Identify and lead finance process improvement and system automation.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience, along with a deep understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting. You will demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with success in this role driven by your capacity to lead effectively and inspire teams to deliver high performance. Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and commercial acumen are essential, with proficiency in MYOB Advance considered a plus. Previous experience in wholesale, distribution, retail, or a multi-site or inventory-based business would be highly advantageous. On Offer
